Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is an injection treatment which uses the components of a person’s own blood to stimulate growth of new cells. Platelets are very small cells in your blood that are involved in the clotting process. PRP is rich with platelets and essential growth factors. When PRP is injected into the damaged area it causes a mild inflammation that triggers the healing cascade, and the growth factors trigger formulation of new healthier skin. 

To get the PRP, your blood is drawn and processed in a FDA approved centrifuge to separate the Platelet Rich Plasma and growth factors from the blood. The PRP is then used to treat many conditions including:
